Lisa Mark, you posted a link to this Frank O’Hara poem earlier this year which was my introduction to him. I was so taken by it that I now have an anthology of his work – but this remains the the most charming, most touching of his poems that I have read so far.
I’m going to try to share this with the link to your blog. We’ll see how that goes.

Thanks!! You are my first comments! I do love this poem as it really does sum up for me the feeling of falling in love. His gentle, conversational style just carries you along like a summer breeze.
